New Track: The Delta

I'm pleased to share my latest instrumental composition, The Delta. You can listen to it on the Music page.

Named for the Mekong Delta, the piece seeks to evoke the atmosphere and emotional landscape of the Vietnam War. Rather than telling a literal story, it explores remembrance, distance, place, and quiet tension. The music is intended to suggest faded photographs, memories, tropical heat, red earth, winding waterways, and the lingering echoes of a conflict that continues to occupy a unique place in history.

The Delta is the first composition in an ongoing series inspired by the Vietnam War. Each piece will explore a different aspect and moment of the conflict through mood, texture, and imagery rather than lyrics or traditional narrative.

New Track: Twenty Times Around

Twenty Times Around is now live on the site. Find it on the Music page.

The track began as a meditation on elapsed time, looking back twenty years and feeling both the distance and the speed with which it passed. The first movement is slow, ambient, and sober, built from synths and arpeggiated phrases that carry the gravity of memory and reflection. From that stillness, a second movement materializes quickly as bass shifts from synth to bass guitar, drums enter, and the piece gathers momentum. What begins as nostalgia resolves into something firmer, a sense of decision and forward motion, prompting a close musician friend to describe the piece as cinematic, like a moment in a film when reflection gives way to action. I agree.
