From that stillness, a second movement materializes quickly as bass shifts from synth to bass guitar, drums enter, and the piece gathers momentum. What begins as nostalgia resolves into something firmer, a sense of decision and forward motion, prompting a close musician friend to describe the piece as cinematic, like a moment in a film when reflection gives way to action.
